Sacred Excursion to Wu Dang to Celebrate Opening of

Wu Dang Taoist Wu Shu Academy

Chi for Longevity, Inc. in cooperation with Sanfeng Friendship Association is pleased to announce the founding of the Wu Dang Sanfeng Wu Shu Academy.  We are pleased to announce the appointment of Master Yun Xiang Tseng to the position of President for the Sanfeng Friendship Association and Master Zhong Yun Long to the position of CEO.

 The Chinese branch of the academy is located at the foot of the Wu Dang Mountains within the gateway to the Wu Dang Taoist Temple complex in Lao Ying, Hubei Province, China.  The Academy is scheduled to open in August  of 2010. It will offer the very finest training in the internal martial arts of Kung Fu and Tai Chi, continuing Wu Dang’s ancient tradition of preserving the authentic traditions of Taoism.

The founding of the Wu Dang Sanfeng Academy is a significant step toward realizing Grandmaster Li’s vision of a Taoist Temple in the United States, providing a training facility for Sanfeng Pai students and members, and the continuation of the traditional methods and knowledge.  The Chinese branch of the Wu Dang Sanfeng Academy will provide training in English as well as Chinese.

Master Zhong Yun Long, Kung Fu Abbot of Wu Dang, is the 14^th generation successor of Master Zhu Cheng De of the Wu Dang Sanfeng Sect of Taoism.  He is highly respected in the Chinese martial arts community and has been given a special proviso by the Chinese government to ensure the continuity of the authentic and traditional teachings.

Master Yun Xiang Tseng is the President of Chi for Longevity, Inc., the North American Wu Dang Taoist Association, and, now, the President of the Sanfeng Friendship Academy. He is a 14^th generation lineage holder in the Wu Dang Sanfeng Sect of Taoism and a 25^th generation lineage holder in the Long Men Sect of Taoism.  As a Taoist priest he is committed to fostering cross-cultural education and the preservation of these ancient teachings.
